Frequently Asked Questions:

What is the flag of the boat? When I registered the boat, the easiest solution was to register it in my home country Romania although I never sailed in the Black Sea. I can share all registration documents and insurance valid till May 2025. I can also share information about companies that help register boats in San Marino or Poland or you can do it on your own depending on your time and tolerance for bureaucracy. Once you register the boat, you can travel anywhere you want. When mooring, marinas only ask for the insurance of the boat and the registration to check the name of the owner and name of the boat.

What is condition of the engine? How many working hours? – The engine is one of the BEST parts of the boat because it’s new from 2017 and has around 400 hours, it works perfectly. Last maintenance June 2023, last oil change, oil filter and fuel filter March 2024.

How big is the water tank? There are two water tanks, each of 100l and you can switch between them when one is empty.

Is it possible to heat up the water with the engine? Not that I’m aware of. You can heat the boat with an internal heater and also an external heater but not the water.

Are there any problems with the boat, we need to take care immediately? The boat has been on water since May 2023 and even though I cleaned it under the water, it’s recommended to take the boat out, clean it properly, let it dry and paint it with antifouling – this is something I would recommend if you plan to start sailing in May. I can help with connections in Souda – there is a crane you can use. If we finalize the paperwork by end of April I can offer a 1000 euros discount to pay for the crane (300 euros) and other improvements you decide on. There is also a scratch on the fiberglass on the stern that can be repaired while the boat is dry. There is no water coming inside because of the scratch – but it’s useful to just cover it with this type of solution: Epoxy Repair Kit.

What is the annual mooring cost in Souda? €1,088 per year + electricity costs.

Is there a possibility to add shower to the toalet in the boat? There is no drainage from the floor in the toilet. Not sure how you can add a shower – maybe it’s possible – you need to think about it and check forums for a possible solution. I only used the showers in marinas or the shower outside the boat – on the swimming platform.

What kind of pump is there (electric or manual)? Manual

What kind of anchor is there (electric or manual)? Manual but you can install a wench if needed.

Do you have information if the boat was chartered in the past? Boat was never chartered. Previous owner was Norwegian – retired who barely used the boat during the summer and stored it on land during winter.

What are the annual costs of the boat? As mentioned, I can offer a 1000 euros discount if we finish the paperwork by end of April. I sell the boat as it is so you have everything you need to live on the boat comfortably and start sailing. The following costs are the basic costs for owning a sailing boat: the mooring cost in Souda starting with May 2025 1088 euros for 1 year just to have a safe and stable place for the boat (difficult to find with this price and difficult to find in general in Greece) + insurance 700 euros with Pantaenius + crane and antifouling 300 euros + registration costs (depending in which country you register the boat). These would be initial yearly costs + 28000 for the boat itself.
